Lomax Design is excited to announce Glebelands entering the public domain with the start of its first public consultation.

The landowners appointed Lomax Design last year to work with them to develop an aspirational masterplan that positively adds to the village and could be seen as an example of how to build for the future.

Rather than selling the site to a leading housebuilder, the owners have opted to develop the site themselves enabling a more accountable and responsible approach, focused on the community over profits.

The proposal is for 75 new carbon-neutral homes, with 48 affordable homes for first-time buyers in Bolney and families who might otherwise find themselves priced out of the local market. The scheme also includes 15 self-build plots set amongst trees, with the bulk of the site to be new woodland.
